WWINGS FOKKER E III
«

Hi,
Here is my E III almost finished....
I hope you enjoy.
Test texture made with pen and ink.
Reinforced this strut because the plastic Wwings is very weak and over time could compromise the wiring of the wings.
Replace the plastic for a metal reinforcement using the materials below:
And a little test fitting the wheels and propeller ...

Giordano,
What a pleasant surprise! This is one beautiful piece of work, the detail, finish, and overall effect are stunning. I really like your highlighting/shading on the engine and undersurfaces. Nicely done.
Cheers,
Lance

Beautiful work Giordano, your attention to detail is superb and the weathering is excellent. I am very impressed with the metal cowling finish, you say you used a pen and ink, could you explain your method please.

Hi Giordano.
What a marvelous build! Overall grat detail and beautiful weathering, especially on the fuselage. I think the stiffing work on the carbane strut is extremely useful. In my build it was almost impossible to work with structural rigging without some extra work on the struts ans especially on the roll for the upper control cables (

).
So at least one question: How long did you work on your fokker?
Kind regards, Dirk

Very impressive, indeed. The castor oil stains are very realistic. Great modelling!
