Giordano, what a marvelous job you are doing on the
Eindecker!  Your attention to detail is amazing.  This
is going to be a great model when you are done!
Could you explain a bit more on your method of
the markings for the metal cowl?  Thanks for
sharing your work with us.

Best Regards,
Ernie

Hello Giordano:

Outstanding work all around.  I too would like to read about how you did the swirling technique.  I know there are many ways and my experiments have all be dreadful failures.  Looking forward to the next update.

Best

Thank you friends, for the comments.
To friends who want to know more of the technique of the cowling,
first painted in a shade of dark metal (steel) and then drew the spots
with quill pen and aluminum. All automotive paints.
Became very contrasted, then very gently airbrushed over the same steel
to decrease the contrast and become more intonated. I did not like it very much
because the spots were a little larger of the scale. I hope I have explained and
I apologize for my English.

Very convincing metalwork, Giordano, and a fine all-around build! ;D  I hope my eventual Eindecker comes out this well. ;)

Hi Giordano.

What a marvelous build! Overall grat detail and beautiful weathering, especially on the fuselage. I think the stiffing work on the carbane strut is extremely useful. In my build it was almost impossible to work with structural rigging without some extra work on the struts ans especially on the roll for the upper control cables (http://forum.ww1aircraftmodels.com/index.php?topic=1567.15).

So at least one question: How long did you work on your fokker?

Kind regards, Dirk

Hello Dirk,
Great job, I enjoyed the propeller.
Working on my Fokker about two months ago, but not every day.

Best Regards,

Thank´s Bob.

Cheers,
