Great to find you well and starting up this forum Des. This gives another reason to visit one of my favorite places.

Hello Des:

Found out about the site from our good freind Greg Jouette.  Glad to see a site dedicated to modelers.  We are all historians to some extent but modeling is our passion, so good to see a site dedeicated to that end.

Best wishes and success

Great to see you take the logical step.  A shame what caused it but I'm sure the seed planted here is going to flourish. I'm looking forwards to a great future seeing so many familiar friendly faces already here before me.  A great thanks to Stephen Lawhead for pointing the way from Aeroscale quite selflessly.

Greetings from the "Snowbelt"! I just found the forum and am looking forward to a long and productive relationship! I have already found much useful information for my projects. I am the duly "appointed " prez of a small but active modelling club in southwestern Ontario Canada and build mostly anything (ships, trucks, spacecraft) but mostly aircraft, and especially those darned biplanes with all the strings!

Good luck Des.

Carry on.

Why did it take me so long to find this site?  I've noticed it's been getting a little quiet on GWIA, this might explain why! I look forward to sharing and learning from the best of the best!
