Hello from North Carolina.  I have had an interest in building Great War aircraft for quite some time now. Usually the 2 seat observation craft but the occasional Scout creeps in to the stash.

I have more experience with full size replicas and that got me interested in model building.  Easier to put on a shelf.  That experience was gained at the Pioneer Flight Museum in Kingsbury, Texas when I lived there.  Dr.1 w/ leRhone, Curtiss JN-4C Canuck, Thomas Morse Scout (original air frame and wings & leRhone). Did maintenance on those and assisted in construction of a SE-5 and Dr.1 that went to a museum in Virginia Beach Virginia museum.

Looking at all the fantastic models on this site is quite inspiring and I hope that I will learn much from y'all and can contribute as well/

Dave
