Thank you!

Lovely! Any issues with assembling all the wings....?
Indeed, there was a small problem, the cabane struts were not properly aligned and the top wing was lying askew in the plan. I trimmed one of them, the pin and the head and then everything fit.

And after a busy Sunday the Tripe is all rigged except for ailerons. The wheels, the engine and the windscreen will complete the job, hopefully tonight.

Thank you.

I managed to fulfil the plan. Collishaw's Tripehound is complete. A couple of  phone-taken photos to round up the build log here and the proper photo gallery will appear soon.

Another incredible build.  I just don't have the superlatives to describe it.  I don't know where you get your information but your attention to detail and ability to make simple plastic look so realistic is amazing.  I'm documenting it so I have it for reference for my build! / Ian

Thanks...

Ian, I am not sure what kind of information are you referring to. If modelling techniques - I have learned the majority of those here and at two predecessor not-any-more-existing modeling forums dedicated to WW1 aircraft models. If to the aircraft details - depends - I have quite a library of Windsocks and other books, and as for this Tripe - whe usual detail-rich Wingnut Wings instruction book gives you more than is needed.

I was reflecting on all the models where you have posted your build logs on this forum and how you have researched each specific aircraft and brought their details to life.  Most impressive.  Your modelling techniques are equally impressive and like you, I have learnt most of my techniques from these forums.

Many thanks / Ian

Oh, I see. Well, this is my vice - I simply do not feel like modeling an aircraft not having at least one photo to confirm its existence.  ;) Actually, the more photos, the better  ;) Besides, I especially like the unusual markings - though this Tripe here is not a good example  ;) But then, it was the idea of this GB - to depict the aircraft of the well-known aces.
Anyway, thank you for your kind words, I am glad my models are liked by the fellow modellers.
