Bravo Paul! It's great to see you tackling these repairs so well and so quickly.
Cheers Zac

Finding the time to get any modelling done is a struggle at the moment (We've all been there), but eventually got around to sorting this one out

It's the third model rebuilt after the great glass shelf disaster. Because this one was pretty much a full rebuild I decided to change the scheme (Sorry Nigel, you'll now need a new label)

.
It's now a model of Hans Besser's aircraft (Jasta 12) In photo's at their airfield in Mesnil these show them to be rather war weary (The white cowls appearing a dirty matt grey is some pictures) Unsurprising really since some were probably cast offs from Staffeln 13 & 19 when they upgraded and they were still in service in mid June 1918 in spite of problems with poor quality oil and well worn engines.
Just spotted in a close up photo that I still need to add a rear view mirror and Morell airspeed indicator on the wing strut, but for the moment it's back in the cabinet. Markings from the spares box or cut from decal sheet and the streaking is done using acrylic paint.
