Thank you Will

Rigging is my usual method of monofilament fitted into holes drilled all the way through. The Aviattic lozenge made it trickier than usual because I normally paint, assemble, rig and then touch up any holes left. The decal is transparent so no overlaps or patches are possible because they'd show up like a sore thumb.

The method I used on this was to cover the undersurface of the top wing and the top of the bottom wing, drill all the holes and then add rib tapes (from Eduard) Overlong pieces of monofilament were then threaded and glued to the top wing and the top surface repaired and touched up then varnished before finishing the decalling. This gave a finished top wing with lots of threads attached. Assemble the model/struts as usual and then thread each line through the appropriate hole only gluing when absolutely sure they were correct.

When everything was dry excess lines were trimmed, holes dressed and after varnishing the lozenge decals could be applied to the bottom surface of the lower wing.
Hope that helps
Paul
Have a go at one if you get the chance; it's the nicest KP kit I've tried so far and there are a few simpler schemes that could avoid the messing about with the wing lozenge
