That interior looks great, given that it's all folded brass. Looking forward to seeing this progress.

Fit of the bottom wing was not so good. Much carving and testing and finally got it where it should be.
I added the exhaust outlet then primed everything up.





I added the missing step to the tail.





I added the missing opening to the cowling.









A first for me, I'm trying these nifty rivets and lace, both 3D printed resin.







With the way this build has gone, these will probably disappear or dissolve under a coat of primer.

I think.......I think I'm done with the surgery and I think I'm very close to priming everything and painting.

Engine time. I was NOT thrilled to learn that Eduard wanted me to use their cast cylinders and a photo etch piece.
Just not feeling the love...



Not ever having run across this before, in hind sight, I would have ground off the rivets on the case first before I put on the P/E.



Was very finicky to do and it doesn't look right anyway. To try and save this, I attempted to make the missing bolted collar the P/E covers up. I stamped out rings from  aluminum sheet.



I got one that was mostly centered and added rivets.



Primed, added black and dry brushed with copper exhaust.



Oh well....it will look OK.....I have a half dozen aftermarket engines, none are what I needed.
I've painted the blue wheels and rudder and I'm starting the CDL undersides tomorrow.

Back in the day we probably thought that approach with the engine was groundbreaking! I think you did a really good job with it and it doesn't look bad at all, once it's under the cowling it will look fine.

I can't believe I'm actually at this point.
I picked some colors I liked for PC10.



I will mist over with the darker color to cut back on those tapes.



Ha, finally, decals....



The larger ones stayed together, the smaller ones broke apart.



Don't know about touch-up for the rudder, may be a re-paint.

Very nice work Allan, that looks really good for an ancient Eduard kit. I like your approach to both the CDL and the PC10, excellent result there. Pity about the decals....

Yes, it's difficult, that top wing fought me the whole way but it's on.

what a dirty underside, but probably realistic after a few sorties.
My way of battling upper wings is eating cereals... and keeping the boxes!
