Gentlemen,
Please excuse my absence from posting and comments for the last few months. I have been busy with work and life in general. I have been following your excellent posts though.
My next project is a dual Pfalz D-XII build. I’ll be utilizing the 1/72 Toko kit for both. I’m also using some of the Part photo etch sets specific to this kit. My livery choice is the two schemes offered on my Paddinghaus decal set.

Construction began in the cockpit area. I used a homemade tool consisting of two #11 blades glued together to scribe the wood veneer strips. I was a little heavy handed here but it will barely be noticeable when closed.

I used the kit flooring and the PE seat, control box, fuselage bracing, etc. the kit floor will help keep everything aligned properly for installation.

Here’s the finished interior ready to close. I scratch built the hand pump and added control cables.
The kit engine is really nice. I omitted the PE wire harness to save for an exposed engine Fokker D-VII future build.

Numerous exterior details were added from spare PE. I tried to represent the fuselage connection seam with decal strip. This was not visible after priming though.

Current state of affairs is the silbergrau fuselage and unit colors are sprayed on. I’m now working on the elaborate PE radiators (43 pieces each!).

Thanks for looking in!
Tim
