Thanks so much, Nigel!

Here it is with some more fuselage panels on, inspections types etc. and the tails have been started!

And...tails done and rigged, strutted etc.  A couple more details then we'll start the engine!

Thanks folks!  I worked on the engine which seems pretty busy and neat.  Only the top half is made and I painted the engine bay black.  I only added springs and I still need to add some rocker arms but next step will be the wings!

Wow Dan!  That engine is more detailed than most injection molded kits.  Nice work!

Very nice!  These engines can be a very tough build.  You nailed it.

Nice work on the engine, amazing considering it's paper and card.

Thanks Tim, DM and Nigel!  This one has been a nice and relaxing build thus far.

I got the wings started and attached one side.  I'll make the top wings soon.

Nice work, this is going to look really striking. It does seem to be going together rather well......(hopes he hasn't spoken too soon).

Thanks so much, Nigel.  Yes...still going along with surprisingly little drama!  I just rapped my knuckles on my head.

Here you see the typical wing structure.  Before I skinned them, I added two brass tubes for strength and straightness (as per the directions).  The skins went on great.  Now I guess I need to make some struts and start getting the top wing situated.

More soon...Dan

Made a jig and got some struttery on.  It's kind of a mess in there and I find a jig based on a scaled-up 3-view is essential.  Kind of like a Brandenburg star strutter.  No Mk.1 eyeball for this one.  Too few right angles!!  :o

I'll add the cabanes tomorrow and then cut it out of the jig and then add the last 4 struts.  Sweet...Dan
