Thanks, Nigel.  I hope to get the wings all done tomorrow.  Then, except for the spoked wheels, it's all downhill from there!

Coming along nicely. Always interesting to see variations on "jigging".

Thanks, you guys...much appreciated.  :D

I got all the wing struts on and now I only need some touch-up paint then onto the landing gear!

Really enjoying this build, Dan. You're doing an amazing job of work here. I've always been a soft touch for A-H subjects but this is one of the nicest I've seen.

Thanks you fine folks...I got more details on the ol' girl including all the rigging, landing gear break, rad etc.  Only big things left are the wheels.  Soon...very soon!

There are so many interesting and colorful aircraft from WW1. This one ranks up there as does your Model!

Thanks Rick and Nigel!

I think all that's left are the spoke wheels.  You can see I got the rear gunner's gun ring done.  I made it out of thin brass.  I also made the Schwarzlose gun but left off the cooling jacket.  That makes it look pretty cool and, I think, typical of that armament.  The barrel is just a small bit of thin piano wire.  I also got on the windscreen and a fuel line from the gravity tank (Can't see those in these shots)...

Ready for those wheels!  Next shots will be of the jigging and spoke process and then onto the completed posts!

Thanks for looking,
Dan

Sorry I haven’t commented earlier Dan. Another incredible build.  You really have a knack for realistic builds with these paper kits.  Nice work with the Schwarzlose and gun ring.

All the best,
Tim
