Great progress. The streaking is striking!

Sorry Rick but I had to spend time away and in that period you have stolen a huge march on me!

Real shame about the streaking, but round two is even bettter IMHO so perhaps the modelling Gods knew that you could do better! The engine looks very realistic and the open panel is a very good idea. With the top wing on you are well on the way to completion - and another mini-masterpiece to add to your collection.

Stephen.

Thanks Stephen! Yes, The Modeling Gods made the right decision IMHO also  8) I think the personal markings will be started today so maybe an update tomorrow.

Today I did the initial, white, portion of the personal markings. I also attached the landing gear assembly!

Wow, fantastic results! Most impressed by the speed of your build, mine isn't moving at all.

Thanks to all for the kind comments. I started the black portions of the personal markings yesterday. Lots of touch up needed so no update until tomorrow!

Touch up and final painting on the personal markings went better than expected so here are the latest photos:

PS: That Odd looking block on the left wing was folded tape that I didn't notice until after the photos. It has since been removed  ::)

Looks fantastic!  I really like the markings on this one - the tail feathers especially.

Wow.  8)
Just love the way this is coming along (I've a soft spot for Dr1's and have looked at the big 24th one a couple of times) ;)

Can't wait to see it all weathered up
