Fantastic work PrzemoL! I 've seen that the roundels on LMDecals do not have the white circle which is present in WnW decals (like the  RAF ones). Is this considered to be more accurate in case of Greek Navy?

Hi statz
The (Royal) Hellenic (Greek) Navy followed British standards. so the lower wing roundels did not have a white border like the English ones. Those of the upper wing had a white border.

It is going very slowly... but always forward ;)

The undersides shaded. Now for masking and spraying the upper surfaces with a narrow overlap on the undersides...

Also the background for wooden struts is done.

Fabulous work, I love your treatment of the discolouration of the CDL. Subtle but incredibly realistic. This is going to be a stunning build when it's done....

Elegant and beautiful work as always, my friend. It’s a privilege to be able to follow along with your builds, I learn something from nearly every post.

Looking good. A question for you - it looks like you do not apply an undercoat before the top coat. If that is the case, do you ever have any problem with the top coats of paint lifting off?

Indeed, I prime the surfaces only occassionally. I will probably do it with the fuselage, as the joints there still require verification.
Sometimes I have to repair the damage on very rare occassions. Washing the elements with a detergent and weakening the masking tape glue usually does its job.

And the current progress - the upper surfaces will now undergo the shading. And the fuselage is being prepared for the primer.

Gorgeous work! The tiny loops in the control horns, are fantastic. That is some really tiny work.

Thanks for that. That might help me build quicker!

Your build is progressing beautifully, this is going to look fantastic when done.
