Thanks!
The fuselage and wings fittings in place. And so is the engine, oil tank and Spandaus. Now it is time for some wash to bring out the surface details.

I will go more to emphasize the surface details than to heavy weathering. As below (it still needs some retouches)

Nice delicate work on the PE parts. The engine looks scaringly good with your alterations. The pilot seat with the safety belts look stunning!

The lozenge decals really make it stand out. All in all a wonderful model.I could never achieve this crisp details in 1/72!

Getting back to this model after a distraction to another small project, which for now must remain secret.

The wing cellule assembly. First, the interplane struts were attached. It required some work with the pins. They are nice but together with the PE fittings make the wing gap too large. The length was successfully corrected.
Then the dry fit revealed that the interplane struts had also to have the upper pins remodelled, as they were prepared as if the struts were entering the wing at the right angle. It was still not enough because the dry fit and testing with the scale drawings showed they were still some 1.5mm too long. I managed to trim them so now everything seems to fit.
Thus, the time has come to insert the rigging into the 0.2mm holes at the wing roots and at the PE fittings. I plan to use Uschi elastic. I will also have to make the water pipe from the pump at the engine bottom to the radiator. All this before attaching the upper wing.

Incredible modelling Prze!
This build log has somehow escaped me. Corrected now, and I will keep following.

Thanks.

I changed my mind on the sequence and decided to glue the cabane struts to the upper wings before seating it on the lower wings.
Also, the interplane rigging lines glued to the lower points - getting them into 0.2mm holes strained my eyes but I succeeded.  ;D

Ta-da!!!  We knew you could do this!

Now Prze, I must ask: are you going to rig this as you've done in the past by pulling the material through a hole in the upper wing and gluing it?
