« on: August 31, 2023, 05:53:14 AM »
Hi all,
Here's the Hansa-Brandenburg W.12, Serial No.1184 (C3MG) as flown by Fl.Mt. Urban and Lt. Ehrhardt of C-Staffel, Zeebrugge, during December 1917.

The detailed forum build log is here:

https://forum.ww1aircraftmodels.com/index.php?topic=13899.0

As usual, a fully detailed build log, which includes all materials, modifications, rigging etc for this build can be downloaded from the 'Logs' page on my site.

Thanks for your comments and support throughout this build,

Mike

Retired - 27 years RAF service then 20 years Military Aerospace Technical Author/editor.

Wow that is a stunner Mike. The figures really add character and interest to what is an outstanding model even without them. Your vignettes are something for others to emulate.

Stephen.

Exceptionally well done Mike - as always. Your attention to detail is always a pleasure to see, and your finishing techniques lend the finished result such realism.
Cheers,
Gary

An excellent build that looks really impressive, I'd love to see it in the flesh. The vignette with the figures really adds a lot to the finished build, very nice work all round.

Brilliant work, the model is so beautiful and the base and figures make it extra special. This is my favourite of your builds so far, it really is superb.

Excellent.  Even the beaching equipment and wooden stands look excellent.

Always had a thing for Great War marine aeroplanes, and this is one of the best models I've seen of one. Great job, Mike.

Wow!  So nicely made Mike. The airplane itself is a work of art but the figures really enhance it.  Can’t wait to see what you have in the queue next.

All the best,
Tim
