You have certainly achieved your goal of creating a realistic and interesting worn aluminium doped finish. It gives the model a real sense of scale and looks stunning.

I must admit that many of these works are experiments. This is my first biplane model and I can definitely consider it as a guinea pig on which I test a whole bag of ideas. This is the final test before an important exam.
Small parts are demanding. One wants to treat them a bit neglectfully, but in the end, they largely make up the whole. Painting the last parts before final assembly.
