Thank you so much for your kind comments; I really appreciate them.
Unfortunately, it will still be a few months (?

) before I can post any further progress on the three Albatros D.V and D.Va models.
The reason for this is that two earlier Albatros models have snuck in and jumped the line.
An Albatros D.III in the markings of Werner Voss from his time with Jasta 5 (I'm building this one for a very good old friend)
and an Albatros D.II in the markings of Otto Gerbig from Jasta 14 (I'm building this one for myself).
Since the construction steps for both models are nearly 100% identical up to a certain point, they will be built simultaneously.
However, the D.III by Werner Voss will incorporate some WingnutWings components, such as the upper and lower wings and the horizontal stabilizer.
Essentially a hybrid between Roden and Wingnut.
We will see how far these plans can be realized, because swapping parts isn't as easy as originally assumed.
Well, here are a few pictures of the two earlier Albatrose models.
Both are kits from Roden, the D.II with a few parts from Encore.
I won't be doing a separate build report, but I might post a few pictures here and there.
I'm actually a bit further along than the pictures show.
