Thank you very much Fredrik, Zac, Phil and Steve
The next component in the Albatross cockpit is the actuating rod for the "Früh - Spät" ignition adjustment.
The lever for this is included in the kit and is mounted on the left side of the cockpit.
The rod can, of course, also be installed when the fuselage halves are glued together, but then the procedure is much more complicated.
In this case, the linkage is installed beforehand.
I used 0.4mm brass tube which is bent according to the original.
The brass tube is fixed in the bulkhead next to the ammo box.
I drilled a 0.4mm hole for this purpose.
The position must be determined beforehand.
The appropriate length for the brass tube is determined by repeated fit tests when joining the fuselage halves.
If the length fits, then the end of the small actuating rod is flattened with a small file, so that it fits optically true to the original on the "Früh - Spät" lever.

Here you can see the linkage installed in the Albatros D.V cockpit.
Eagle eyes among you will recognize the flattened end of the linkage.
At this point it is attached to the lever.

Here the view from the outside of the cockpit on the "Früh - Spät" lever.
The end of the linkage rests against the lever, it is not yet glued.
A tiny drop of wood glue will do the job.
The wood glue allows exact positioning of the linkage on the lever before the glue joint hardens.

Also a quick look at the right side of the cockpit.

Of course, the linkage will be displayed in the same way on the both Albatros D.Va.
