The leading edge and trailing edge fairings on the wing roots are now on the model.
They fit surprisingly well on the front of the model, but the rear fairings needed some reworking - good thing I still had some in stock.
These had to be adapted in terms of contour and material thickness.
- Here in the first pictures the parts from the kit:
(The sink marks disappear in the course of the contour adjustment)

The heads of the nails on the fairings were marked with a 0.20 mm drill bit.
Painted with dark brown oil paint and sealed with silk matt varnish with the addition of a little clear orange and minimal Nato brown.

I have also (finally) finished the expansion tank for the cooling water.
Sink marks on the left and right had to be filled and the water pipe from the engine to the tank and also the one from the tank to the rear to the pump was made with soldering wire scratch.
The tank was painted with Mr.Metalcolor "Aluminum", some "Stainless" and a little bit of "Iron". The hose sockets on the pipes were painted with Rubber-Black. The hose clamps were made with 0.09mm thin wire.
Weathering with highly diluted, dark brown oil paint.
I filed off the original cap on the tank.
For better handling, I inserted a piece of wire in place of the cap.
The new cap was made from a thin Evergreen plastic rod.

Your wooden fairings and cooling water tank look fantastic - along with the rest of all the little oil stains and nail marks.
