Hello,
I am about to receive a WNW D.Va in the post and my mind has turned to rigging.
My apologies in advance if some or all of these questions have been discussed on the forum,. There is a lot of information out there.
Specifically, for the D.Va
1. As this is my first attempt, I will probably only undertake the rigging on the main wings and leave the rest 'til later.
2. Rigging line: I have obtained some EZ Line fine charcoal 0.15mm thread for the task; the sample pack stuff.
3. which cyano? There are sites recommending the 'thin' and the 'thick'. In all ignorance I admit to not being sure just what to employ. There appear to be two forms of description for cyano: 'thin', 'medium' and 'thick' and 'slow', 'medium' and 'fast'. Assuming these are interchangeable terms, what would the forum members recommend?
4. drill bits: will a 0.5mm bit be sufficient?
5. also arriving at a later date is a WNW Rumpler C.IV and a DH2. For the British aircraft, I would like to use the thread recommended on the WNW site. Given that they seem to be in a long-ish term stock outage, are there recommendations on where both this and a full spool of the 0.15mm charcoal thread might be obtained?
Thanks,
Michael
