Thank so much guys for the comments , glad that you are enjoying the build just as much as I'm .
Warren Q , I think what helped was the amount of sanding and not having the cowl side panels off . I'm sure of it now . It is a tight fit , the frame work isn't glued in place .
yes adding the spokes brings a bit more detail into an empty place , it's not perfect for it does the trick . On the Part PE set there are spoke wheels but i never found this to be realistic being flat , maybe for another project in the future .
Progress has been moving forward for the build , was able to get a bit of time at the bench with a few more items off the list . Details added .....
Tail skid pinned for added strength
Bolt heads added to the rudder hinges
Taping added to the fusleage seems ( bottom runs form nose to tail )
I added a lip for the cowl panels to attach to , these panels over lap so not fully correct but does add to the over all effect . I don't have the cowl panels parts anymore so I just winged it with a bit of gizomology .
Retaining chips on the front cowl
moisture drain holes on the bottom of the fuselage , one just behind the wing root and the other one is in front of the tail skid .
Vale springs with PE parts for the PE set for the spring tops . Still have the rocker arms to add
Bolt heads added to the rocker covers
Seat belt bolt heads added to the fuselage sides .
All struts are pinned
Guns
Rad stutter
And that is where I'm at now with the build .
