Google Photos will definitely not work!
May be for you, because the picture is in the cache of your browser but not for the others.

External linking was possible and allowed in Google Picasa (which is frozen now, so no new updates). With the change to Google Photos is was explicitly stated, that external linking of the pictures is not allowed and/or possible (help pages). The links are changed often.
You can only generate links for sharing, but the users have to visit the Google pages to see the photo, so this is definitely not a option here in the forum.

Suggest to follow the recommendation of Gary.

Cheers,
Frank

Hello Grant
Welcome to the forum. One of my dreams has been to make an RC WW1 plane but God knows if I will ever get round to making one.

Thank you for the welcome!
Flying RC WW1 aeroplanes can be a challenge but they are so cool to fly. Had Fokker DVII that was an outstanding flying but like a dummy I sold it.

I've often toyed (hehe) with the idea of RC and have had a go on a dummy box. There are some beautiful builds out there but for me they never seem to capture scale flight (always appearing to have very jerky movements in the air) and, kinda cruicially, don't sound anything like the real thing. Even the very impressive Moki 5cyl radials sound cool but the airborne models still sound like they're powered by Stihl or Husqvarna.

Anyway, I don't mean to derail your intro!

I fly electric versions but most definitely would be very difficult to capture the WW1 engine sounds, they are one of a kind forsure.

Welcome to the forum grant. I have been to Washington State a couple of times, a beautiful part of the world.
