Speaking for 1/72 scale, there is only the Lloyd C.V.  Would like to see:

Albatros C.VII,C.X C.XII
Aviatik C.I (Berg)
DFW C.V
Halberstadt CL.IV
Hansa-Brandenburg C.I
Morane Saulnier P
FE2b/d
Lloyd C.II/III
Rumpler C.IV
SAML 1/2
SIA 7b/9b
AEG C.IV
Some of the kits were made in resin but are out of production.  Wishful thinking I suppose.

Well, the following kits are those that I miss most desperately:

  • Halberstadt D.II in 1/32, such an important plane with no kit on the market
  • Pfalz A.I (or A.II) in 1/32, a very important plane of the early mountain-aviation in WWI

If anyone produces one of those kits they will see me eternally thankful  :)
Greetings,
Michael

Everybody's building large-scale kits, so those of us in the proper scale (1/72) don't stand a chance. Ah well.  ;D 8)

Hey Matt, Give your wants, Special Hobby isn't necessarily committed to any scale  although traditionally they did 1/48th and 1/32nd in the past! I wouldn't mind seeing the un-kitted two seaters I mentioned in 1/72nd .

It would be great to see more German two seaters in 1/32:

e.g.
AEG C.IV
Albatros C.VII and C.X
LVG C.V
AEG J.I
Albatros J.I
Friedrichshafen FF.33H

the following fighters would also be great:

Pfalz E.IV
Halberstadt D.II
Albatros W.4

and some big ones:
Friedrichshafen G.III
AEG G.V

Thanks,
Jason

In 1/48th scale any German or Austrian seaplane. Also in 1/48th scale some pushers would be welcome such as the Fe.2b (early and late) and Voisins or Farmans.

A Pfalz D.VIII in 1/48 would be really nice!

Easy one, this! All of the above - in all scales! Some great suggestions and inspiration by the folk on the site, and Special Hobby can deliver! But just a thought: if other companies are rumored to be working on a subject, especially a less than mainstream project, it's better that they wait a while. Also if the subject is really esoteric, the market is really small and they need to take this into account... I have all of their 1/32 WW1 productions, so forgive me if I I add a plea for a Halberstadt DII.... Maybe that Hanriot too.... And Thank You SH for all the great modelling inspiration... Regards, Marc.

As Much as I want other kits first, the Jenny would probably sell better than most!

A 1/32 Bristol Scout

When I am not entirely wrong, CSM have one in the pipeline!

I would be a happy man with a 1:32 scale Halberstadt D. fighter and/or a Morane BB or P.

Thanks for the responses folks! There are some great suggestions there and to date the Hanriot HD.1 is the clear leader.

But please note this poll covers all scales and the 1/48 and 1/72 builders have just as important a say as the large scale crowd.

To those who think 1/72 is ignored, you have the chance to change that by your input. Don't complain- tell us what new kits you want! I am recording all subjects and will be sending the list to Special Hobby.

My personal new kit wants cover 1/48 and 1/32 scale.

1/48 scale -  Airco DH.5, Vickers FB 19 Bullet; Fe8
1/32 scale -  Airco DH.5
                   Be2c

Keep the ideas coming folks.

Hi

In 1/32

CSM have said they are bringing out a Sopwith Scout, Baby and HansaB
So you could strike them off because I’m sure CSM will a great job and I hope they keep going strong with WW1

Roden have announced a possible Sopwith 1 1/2 Strutter an Avro 504 so likewise

I wanted to say I’d like to see injection moulding for all of the 2 seater kits Likgraph has coming. But only if they are limited release and not available one day and it doesn’t cut into Lukgraph sales because that wouldn’t be fair. I know it’s business but hats off to them for bringing these out.

1/48 and 1/72 people go for it. If it wasn’t for WNW we might not be lovin 1/32 as much ( although it’s the best scale for fighters IMO.

I’d love to see a huge Friedenchafen bomber or even a ‘giant’ bomber (the one with a propeller on the nose) But the only person mad enough to do that in 1/32 has dipped out of the industry
