Very interesting, I have the SH Nieuport 16, which is very nice, but SH really keeps improving their quality as evidenced by their latest kits. One of several I have is an off-topic model (1/72 the McDonnell FH-1 Phantom), but it is a superb little package!

As for 'wishes', there have been some very nice suggestions already, to which I'll support or add some...

1/32
I'd support, in order of my like factor:

-Breguet XIV (as much as I like that one, I'm not sure how commercially viable it would be, and it's a big one, too)
-Albatros C.X / C.XII (they shared many parts)
-Phonix D.I/II/III (pretty!)
-Albatros D.III (Oef) (perhaps more up Roden's alley?)

my own suggestions:
-Phonix C.I (wild array of in- and postwar markings for multiple nations (Czech, Hungary, Yugoslavia, Sweden, to name some) and a pretty machine to look at imho, decent references available as well)
-will never happen but I like it, unlike the crews apparently: SPAD XI / XVI (would look fantastic next to a Roden S.VII and S.XIII)

Out of the box thinking like a Dutchman :D
-Fokker C.I (hey, they did a Fokker D.II and Bristol M.1c, too!)
-Rumpler C.I (several were interned)

In 1/72:
Sopwith Pup
SPAD VII
Large single or multiple engine aircraft (Friedrichshafen G.III, AEG G.IV, HP O/100 O/400 anyone?)

As much as the Hanriot was important and is wished for, it somehow does not do much for me :( (sorry!)

With no surprise I'm voting for an Albatros Cx10/ CX11 in 1/72 or 1/32.

Well okay, then. All 1/72 (other scales exist? Really? :D)

SPAD VII
SPAD XI/XIX
Salmson 2A2
Accurate Sopwith 1.B1 (and please someone find a photo of the underside of this plane)
Dorand AR1
Morane Saulnier Type P
Morane Saulnier Type L/LA
Morane Saulnier Type AC
Morane Saulnier Type N (Revell is not accurate, plus it's been OOP for quite a long time)
Nieuport 28
Fokker D.I/II/III
Pfalz D.VIII

There are definitely more, but that's all I can think of this morning.

My wish list, avoiding the ones that are very unlikely.
In 1/72, of course:

Airco D.H.2
Fokker D.II
Fokker D.V
Hansa Brandenburg C.I
Hannover CL.III
Morane Saulnier N
Nieuport 28
RAF F.E.2b
Roland C.II

Definitively there is a market gap for French, Italian, and Austro Hungarian fighters, that no other WW1 airplane manufacturer has yet plunged into production. Anything that fills in those missing must-have kits, will dominate the market

I'd love to see a Short 184, BE.2 and a DH.4 in 1/32

I'd also love to see a DH.10 in 1/32 but I would eat my hat if that ever happens (but I'd be very pleased if it did!)

My gut desire is a 1/32 Avro 504k but as mentioned that's in the pipeline. I personally find 1/32 ideal for WW1 kits although I still get the odd 1/48 and 1/72 desire...

1/32:
BE.2f (really any BE.2)
American-built DH4
Hanriot HD.1
Curtiss Jenny
Standard J.1
Siemens-Shuckert D.IV
Airco DH.6
Vickers FB.5 Gunbus
Vickers Vimy
Thomas Morse S.4

1/48:
Vickers Vimy

1/72:
Vickers Vimy
Zac in NZ

If I was the directing mind of Special Hobby I wouldn't know where to start after reading the posts.

Hanriot HD.1 in 1/32 scale is the clear leader at the moment but it's early days in the poll so the more responses the clearer the picture for Special Hobby.

Incidentally in our Roden wanted kits poll the Spad XIII was the number one want with the Hanriot in second place. As Roden acted on our poll to produce a Spad XIII it makes sense that the Hanriot has jumped to number one wanted place.

But let's see more requests and for all the scales, this is not a single scale poll folks. Every scale is equal.

cheers

I'm afraid I can only add to the 1:32 Scale suggestions here; the Hanriot in that scale, an Oef Albatros D.III, and a Sopwith 1 1/2 "Strutter" being my three most wanted choices.
Cheers,
Lance

Some great suggestions here…….personally I would love to see:
1/72 scale Maurice Farman Longhorn or Standard E-1
1/48 scale Sablatnig SF2
1/32 scale Halberstadt D.II

Hey ho…….no harm in dreaming
