Brilliant work on the model, Sandy. Your Hotel Shampoo Bottle idea is one of the best tips I've seen in ages - thanks for that!
Cheers,
Gary

Oh merde!
Thought I'd run all the interplane rigging wires and tensioned, sealed and touched up all the holes - only to realise I'd forgotten the lower outer strut to front u/c leg cable! Putain! Out with the fine drills again.

Biggles is contemplating the rudder and saying to himself, Yes fine so far, but how are you going to get the distinctive serials looking right.
I'm wondering the same myself!

Biggles - "I say, Old Pipkin, will you get the finger out and get my rudder and lewis attached so I can take her up for a spin!"

Most major components added, thick white paint turnbuckles applied and ready for some panel definition, light weathering and satin coating. Then I have to really think how I do the rudder serials!!!

I'm sure Biggles would suggest using a mask to paint the serials... It can be done I'm sure, even with a white outline. I could probably help you with that if you're interested.

Great build overall!

Thanks guys. And especially for the offer of help, Fredrik.
I think I've sourced appropriate serials on an Xtradecal sheet from Hannants - I'll see if they fit the bill.
Cheers

Billy Bishop "That's all very well for you chivying him up to finish your plane, Biggles, but what about my N17 that he put on hold to build your N27? And I'm still stuck in bubble wrap in this box!!!"

PS "Do you think I could claim some victories with it anyway?"
