Wow, your weathering looks so great !
You could tell me you that you made a picture of a real plane in a museum and I would easily believe it  :)

I am definitely looking foreward to your next steps...
Greetings,
Michael

Like Frank said. It’s going to be a fantastic Taube!

Great, Manni! Looking forward to seeing more! I also have this kit of one of my boyhood-heroes when I had read „Der Flieger von Tsing-Tao“ by Gunther von Plüschow. And I do fancy my Taube as a heavily weathered, warweary bird.

Hello my friends and thank you for your nice comments. I am very happy about that.

I have finally done something again with my Stahltaube. I have finished the painting and weathering. The rigging was a real challenge for me and of course I broke all the struts by clumsiness.  With the help of Rafael's great photos I put the gaspatch turnbuckles in the right places. Now I am very pleased with the Taube how it turned out.

Here you can see the final position of the plane. I will work on the figures and the base in the next steps.

Bye,
Manni

Beautifully painted and the rigging is spectacular. I am really looking forward to the diorama  8)

What a nice bird! It is really a member of the early aviation, with it's shape and all the rigging lines 8)
The model is beautiful painted.

Cheers,
Frank
