You have a nice oil mess in your engine compartment, Manni.
I think long overdue maintenance work is needed on the crankcase and water pump seals.

Bravo, really fine work on the Taube.

Another use for my stockings , that is a neat idea Manni . The effect and then with the weathering really make those wings look so realistic .

Hello.  Just joining in to add my appreciation for your work and ideas you are sharing.  I really like the seatbelts you've created.  One of the problems I have with photoetched ones is getting to appear to lay in a natural limp way.  They always just look like strips of metal I feel.  Yours bend and lay so nicely.  I also really like the texture you've created on the wings.  Thanks for sharing.  I have this kit as well and will reference your work when I start it.

A very clever Idea to add the texture Manni. The pencil and oil weathering is the icing on the cake!

More Manni magic here! Thses are really original ideas - especially the way in which you used different colours and textures to achieve the linen effect on the wings. Looking forward to seeing more.

Stephen.

Nice new ideas!
What was the base of your Field Gray? Tamiya?

Cheers,
Frank

Thank you all for your kind words.
Yes, I always try to make something new. Mostly I do everything new because I forgot how I made it the last time. And sadly I am too lazy to make myself some notes (dumb me)
@Frank:I used Tamiyas XF65 Feldgrau as base. I use always Tamiya paint for the main colors, but I thin them with the yellow cap thinner from Tamiya or Mr. leveling thinner.
Bye, Manni

Superb work and results so far Manni; it's great seeing you active again and working your "trademark" magic! Like all of your projects this will be an exceptional model, and I look forward to learning more from your ideas used here.

Lance

Hello my friends and thank you for all your comments. A little progress is made by me on the model. The weathering is done by oil paint. I think the next step is rigging and then the fun work on the terrain.
