Just found this ! The interior detail is something to die for - the wood effect, instruments and rigging are extremely well done.

Excellent work in the 'pit'
I like the tone of wood used.

Nice!  8)

As others have said - fantastic cockpit - your wood painting really does look like wood

Thanks.

As I said previously I thought the cockpit was ready. But, how was the engine operated? I needed to place the controls and so I did

The seat had some flash in places where there should be holes. I used a real sharp scalpel and tried to remove the flash. Not all the flash is gone but at least there are some holes.

Tima for some paint. I used CDL as a base color, redbrown for the leather and a combination of raw sienna and transparant oxide yellow oil paints and a dark dirt wash from Flory

When taking the pics I saw that the cushion needed some more paint. I will touch up when I'm going to place the seat in the cockpit.

I'll use the seatbelts from the kit. I don't know if they are the correct ones but I don't want to buy some AM.

Finaly I painted the wood on the inside of the fuselage and painted the front on the inside grey. I admit that I good have done a better job on the woodwork but it's ok for now. The effect with the cockppit in place is fine.

Thanks for watching

Your quality of work is amazing - I really like how you paint the wood and the wicker seat which all look incredibly realistic.

Thank you all.

I fitted the seatbelts to the seat and as said I touched up the cushion.

Then the seat could be glued in place.

And so the time for closing the fuselage is here. A quick dryfit

Yep, that fits. The woodwork in the fuselage gives a nice contrast. I looked at the instructions and it seems that I didn't miss anything so the fuselage could be closed. The advantage of this fuselage is that there are no locating pins. So the fit could be made near perfect  :D
After the glue dried I could make some more pics.

A lot of people would say "what a shame you odn't see the cockpit very wel and all the work that went in it. I don't agree with those people. I had a lot of fun building the cockpit and I'm happy with the result. I know it's there and that is the most important thing

Thanks for watching.

What a Shame all of that Detail you added can't be seen,  ;D Your final details looked excellent and it is great to see the fuselage all closed up. Excellent work and progress!
