That seems to be a nice kit. May be not on WNW level, but a lot of details.
You made a good job so far. Let's see whats next.

Cheers,
Frank

Normally I let the oilpaint dry for min 5 days but the VMS helps drying the oilpaint.

How long did it take with VMS chemistry?
BTW - I like Your woodgrain very much.

After two days I could handle the parts and start detail painting.

We got some more work done. I placed decals and several parts

I placed two turnbuckles in the rudder bar and made the control lines. The tubes are blackened with Brass black.

All is going wel. At least I thought so. Next was the control column.

Something makes me think that this isn't what it's supposed to be. Reparing isn't an option becuase of the the cable's so I made a new one. The parts

Ready, including the cables.

And placed in yhe cockpit. When you look closely you can see the aileron cables.

Thanks for watching.

Lovely work, I think your new control column is better than the kit part so a happy accident!

Wonderful work. The wood is very realistic and the interior is stunning. Such a beautiful plane. I will watch carefully as I have the same kit in my stash. Just wanderful kit and parts.

Thanks guys. Lately I haven't been building a lot because of the high temperatures and I bought a new CNC millingmachine wich I had to build en test. That's done so now it's time for some modelling.

I finished the cockpit. There was some rigging needed on th ebottom and the sides.

I only need to paint the seat. The fuselage is painted CDL on the inside and masked.

For the woodwork I used raw sienna. This is a different color then the rest of the cockpit because I want to see the difference and I wanted to do something different.

The update was well worth the wait, that's a superb cockpit with very neat rigging.

You must have hired a spider to do the rigging. Incredibly beautiful work.

The woodgrain is outstanding!

Hiya, this is coming along great, well done. Probably a bit late, but Alleycat do an upgrade set for this kit. Regards, Pete in RI
