Hi all,
This ‘Special Hobby’ (Kit No:SH32064) model represents a Fokker D.II, serial number not known, attached to ‘Kampfeinsitzer Stafflen’ (Kesta) 4b sometime between April 1917 - October 1918 at Royal Bavarian AF, Freiburg.

‘Wings Cockpit’ figures - seated LSK pilot (LSK 04A).

‘Aviattic’ WW1 Fokker ‘streaked’ camouflage (ATT32058),

Spectacular, as usual. Also, the sene with the figures brings a lot of life to the model. Great to see your stellar work, yet again.

That said, once superseded by better aircraft, they were used primarily as trainers.
Maybe those airfields were not so well looked after.
That's my excuse anyway,

Your Fokker really turned out first class, Mike. The painting, weathering and rigging are all exceptionally well done. Great work on such a unique subject.
