All parts are now painted including touch ups and she is ready for clear coating ! The turbo charges I sprayed a base of semi gloss black first , let that dry then spray Vallejo Metal Coat steel . Once this was dried the first round of weathering is applied . I used Tamiya weathering sets for this choosing different shades of rust tones . Wheels have their first round of weathering as well . They were given a wash of Flory sand wash , but still need to be dull coat .

Those hinges for the gear doors were a pain to do ...24 in all !

First round of decals are now , tomorrow will be the rest of all the small stencils which isn't much . I used the kit decals after all , had a few crack on me but no big deal . Nothing that colourful language can't fix !

Looking Fantastic Alexis! There is something about adding the markings that really brings an aircraft model to life. This one is No Exception!

Bob , all I know is what is marked on the instruction sheet . 383rd Fighter Squadron , 364 Fighter Group .

Rest of the stencils are on and like The Mustang everything is sealed and set a aside to dry overnight . Weathering can start and shouldn't be much longer before this one is button up !

Made a bit more progress on her with the weathering finished and sealed once again . I had a boo - boo on the right side of the canopy and I'm pissed ! Fict ich pissed ! Tried to fix it and made it worse . Will show photo's of this later when the final photo's are ready . All other parts are set to go with just finally assembly left , but stuff needs to dry first . The replace wheels from Ultracast , front one is to big and had some sanding a trimming on the gear leg , all good now !
