Thanks Jeroen ,

Yeah , that four legged creature just doesn't get the message to get off that dame wheel when it's time for sleep  ::)

Great work so far Alexis. I know what you mean about PE brake lines - I'm not sure why they do those. I'm working on a 1/48 Brewster Buffalo right now and they had those included in the kit. I measured out an equivalent line of 0.1mm lead wire and used that instead. It was much more cooperative (but very delicate!).
Cheers,
Gary

Thanks Gary  :)

I ran out of the wire I need for doing brake lines . Next run to the hobby shop , it's on my list . Most of the PE pats I wonder way then even do them , but some folks seem to like their PE for added detail .

I dip the canopy today , be able to start masking tomorrow .

I have not looked in recently on this build Alexis: despite your having less good days you do seem to have moved this one on considerably. I am sure that your attempt to fill the wing root will be ultimately successful - even if you do have to add some more filler first!

As for PE i do have two words for that stuff, but I will not post them here as I do not wish to offend you or upset the mods! I have been struggling with some spoked wheels for my current build and just wish that I had the skill and patience to make my own from thread and a small metal disc. On my next model the wheels will have canvass covers.... and NO PE.

Stephen.

Nice Alexis,

Out of interest, what do you use for attaching canopies? I find them a little resistant to glue these days?

Thanks Guy and Bob  8) Soon or later I will get her done !

Guy , I always dip my canopy parts in future first and let that dry for a day or two . For glue I use Tamiya extra thin in the light green cap . A coat of future will stop the clear plastic parts form fogging while the glue dries .  ;)

I think that when I start to paint a model there is light at the ned of the tunnel. This one is certainly moving forwards well.
