Thank you very much.

And the break in the updates does not mean I left this project. Simply the work on my Fee entered the little spectacular but very essential phase of parts cleaning and installing the rigging eyelets. Exactly 170 of them in the wings, tail, booms and nacelle. Now they need to be tested for pull-out. Also the elevator control horns with cable pieces to the turnbuckles were recently added.

The eyelets look great and neatly placed! Did they come with the kit or are they aftermarket?

Right, Terri. This beast has well over 200 lines all together, yet some have the plastic eyelets in the plastic kit parts, some others as the control horn siffeners do not require them at all. And the interior is already rigged :-)

Willem, the eyelets are from Bob Booth - the famous Bob's Buckles - great stuff, very much recommended.

A master class, Przemol!

Could I ask how you terminate the rigging line on the turnbuckles as it looks true to scale, and what line are you using?

Thanks, David.
I use the classical method with tubes, only that they are roughly 0.5-0.7mm long sections of amber polyimide tubing which I cut with old fashioned shaving razor. The lines are black 0.12 and 0.16mm monofilament fishing lines.

Very neat work on the anchors Prze, and the control line connections as well. I remember this stage of the Build when I did the "Fee", a daunting task that, by the end, really tested my patience! It just seemed it would never end! Nicely done!
Cheers,
Lance

Thank you.

Some more fun with colours. Wooden struts and undersides done. The tail booms still lack the wrap bands, decalling will care for it.
