Nieuport 17C1 - Emile Paumier (1/32, Copper State Models)
« on: October 22, 2020, 12:46:35 AM »
Let me present my vision of Ltn. Emile Paumier's Ni17 from Esc. N76. The early version of CSM kit, basically from the box, just the Gaspatch turnbuckles (in 48th scale variant) and a few connections in the pit were added. All together a lovely kit, with nice detailing, good fit, fine decals, etc. I am only complaining about the fuselage split into very many parts and... the subject itself, as I am not a big fan of sesquiplanes... Still, here it is and now I am eagerly awaiting that promised Caudron G.III...

I truly enjoyed following your progress on this model. Your Noop turned out beautifully! Great build from rudder to prop hub.

I'm almost surprised you didn't build a Polish plane.  Excellent results with a nice level of detail.

Nice job as usual, I don’t know how you rattle through them so quickly.

Would you consider the fuselage issues as annoying rather than anything difficult to deal with.

That's a great model, Sir!

I like the Nieuport sesquiplanes, and you've built one up proud.

That is a truly stunning model. I especially like the oil staining under the fuselage and the super overall finish. Many congratulations on another superb build.

Stephen.

Thank you, everyone. I am glad that you like this model more than I do. :-)

I would love to. But I learned when the model was released, from Melius Manu staff, who were involved in the kit design, that the several apparent Ni17s in Polish post-war service were actually Ni23s... So I gave it up with some regret.

Definitely, just annoying. Not difficult at all  ;) Even I managed to cope with those seams :)

Beautiful work! Your rib-taping on the top wings is particularly spectacular. Thanks for sharing the model.

Beautiful job Prze, the finish is (as always) exceptionally clean and "crisp". Another beautiful model to join all of your others, congratulations!
Cheers,
