Danke Kevin ,

One would think it won't take long , but still a ways to go ....there is a lot of rib tapes to apply ! Only have two colours left to add . The black on the tail , cowl , guns and the grey for the tires . Getting there though and at this stage it does start to feel good once it all finally comes together .

Haven't been active , but haven't been inactive either .

Starting with the fuselage decals the first chevron for the personal marking broke apart in the water into a million tiny little parts .  ::)
Look quit cute seeing them floating in the water cascading around effortlessly . Thank Gott for a second kit . Even though there is a few troubles with the chevron ( it only broke in three parts ! ) I got the bugger on !!! :) The cross provided on the decal sheet are the wrong size for Paul's aircraft , these ended up coming for the spare box . Going to need a few brush strokes for touch ups once the decals are fully dried . Prop doesn't have the right prop logo's , fun that the kit comes with only a wotan prop , but no logo's It does have logo's of a Axil prop , but no prop !

Nice recovery on the decal for the stripes Alexis. I probably would have given up or painted this marking  ::) Again, that prop is amazing!

Keep up the great work, Alexis. It would take me half a year to get as
far as you have with this kit.

Already it feels like it has been 6 months since I started this project Kevin . It has only been 4 months  ::) My goal is to have this completed by the end of next month if all goes as planned .

Howdy,

If it’s not too late, LF has decals for a variety of propeller logos. I believe the Wotan props are on the Austrian Hungarian sheet.

Starts to look like the Pfalz of Mikael Carlsson! May be he has some spare decals? Äh stop, wrong scale! Mikael has one in 1:1  ;D ;D ;D

Bit aggravating when decals are uncooperative like that;the wings look terrific though,is that Aviattic lozenge Alexis? By the way,the Voisin seems to have finally found it's way onto an aircraft, not sure if its in the air yet but at least a bit of progress.
Cheers,
Dave.

Brian , have made a note for future projects , it is a little late . It's all been sealed now  ;)

Du bist ein lustiger Mann Frank  ;) :) Danke Schon

Dave , They can indeed be a bit aggravating at times . Yes I'm using Aviattic Lozenge decals . # ATT48008 5 Colour " joined faded . Lower wings will get the same treatment . Yeah , it's taking a world tour , with less and less flights the system slows down .

Not a good day for sitting in front of the bench . Started off wonderfully , feeling a little sassy I sprayed the tyres . All was going well until a mishap took place . I don't understand that weird connection you guy's have with power tools ... while thinning the inside of the cowl more the dermal tool got away and did this  ::) Yeah , I'm sticking with my hair drier and curling iron .

So the cowl will have to be re-done  ::)

Alexis  ( still feeling bit sassy )

sorry to see that damage there to the cowl!

I would be totally on the "non dremel" side for doing almost anything aside from the most rough and general shaping or cutting of rough shapes/parts - I've never had luck doing any fine work with it....
