Wow Kent, your Rumpler looks Incredible on the floats! This is a beautiful bird and Had it been issued as a WNW kit I might have been tempted to do My first floater  8)

Update on the Rumpler Seaplane build:

The floats have been 'darkened' allowing the hex pattern to be visible.

Rudder and elevators are mounted and the decals have been applied.

The wings have been masked and are ready for some 'shadowing'

Cheers: Kent

Excellent work!
The Wings are outstanding, considered the surgery that they underwent...
I know how difficult is to obtain such a result joining different pieces

A truly beautiful piece of Modeling! Looking at the fuselage, floats, and wings No one would know that this is indeed a conversion! Brilliant!

Thanks all!
I know it sounds crazy but I'm using tons of tesa precision mask tape, cutting the 0.8-0.9 mm strips myself...

Nothing crazy about that, Kent! I use the pink version of Tesa tape, the sensitive variety. Works really well and works out a lot cheaper than Tamiya tape.
Thanks for sharing.

That’s a beauty Kent,

The lozenge & shading are top notch. Love it.
