Kent,
That's a good catch. The cockpit is looking first class, as always.

Good catch on the interior.   Better to catch it now rather than too late.

Your Rumpler is very impressive! It looks as though you covered the stringers prior to the Hex decals? If so what did you use? Outstanding details on all!

Thanks Rick, Terri & Fvdm.

The white paint over the stringers, is white paint, I was testing the color for the transparent Hex decals. Ended up using a light blue.

It took me forever to fit the forward engine panels, there's very little to work with on the the shortened cowling.

The top wing has been assembled, ready to paint I think...

Cheers: Kent

Do like how the cowl turned out Kent and your top wing is most excellent so far .  :)

The nose and cowl panels are amazing Kent! Great progress on the upper wing as well! Looks like another contest winner is on the way!

Thanks Rick!

A huge milestone of this build has been reached...

The Rumpler is up on it's floats. You never really know if the build is going to succeed before stages like this has been accomplished.

The main struts have been soldered together to add som stiffness to the structure (not my cup of tea, but it does the job)

The floats have only been dry fitted, amazingly enough, there are still some 8 struts to fit...

Cheers: Kent

Wow Kent, what an interesting conversion and that hex pattern turned out so fine. However, my absolute highlight so far is the leather seat! Looking forward to see more :)

Best,
Tim
