Bit more done and a bit more started .

The gun is being hack up and will use bit's and bobs from the Tom Model Works set to dress up the gun . WNW gun breach is slightly better then Rodens .

The cockpit padding I wasn't to sure how to actually make this and after sending a bit of time on line , it looks like most DH-2 's had this hasmap applied so it doesn't need to be perfect . To build this up I'm using Mr surface 1000 which has gone pretty thick , but still thins with thinner . Once this is done the holding clips will be added . While the putty was out I gave the fabric corners a quick brush as well for a wrinkle effect or taunt appearance , it doesn't have to be pronounced but rather match how I did the effect on the inside of the fuselage .

The sheets which cover wear the tail booms meet the wings , nail detail was added as well . and that is all for this up-date .

My plan on hacking up the gun didn't fair well and I really made a mess of it all and had to junk the parts . Feeling rather down on myself on not paying attention to what I was doing . It was walk away and pout . Digging through the parts bin low and behold , a WNW replacement was found ! Yippie !!!! . Being a bit more careful this time around the gun is together and awaits paint . Even found the wind screen which I thought I lost . The barrel was cut off and replaced with brass tubing .

Another detail being added is the hinge detail for the ailerons , so far the lower left side is finished . Sitting there looking at the tail parts , hinge detail was added to these parts , leaving the wings rather plan in this area . The pins are a flexible brass wire so adjustments can be made latter on .
