You are moving along quickly with No Loss in quality! The scheme is looking great as do the MG's.

You can build a kit in the time it takes me to rig the wings on mine! Stunning fiinish on the wings, and the guns look completely realistic. Super kit - even better model.

Thanks Terri, Fredrik, Stephen & Rick,

Quite a big update as I’m progressing at speed! Almost ready for the final construction phase. The masking went well thanks to Fredrik and, for a change, no touching up or bleeds. I love this colour scheme. I wouldn’t mind making another of these, I never normally re make a kit - but the choice of markings out there is mouth watering!

Good that the masks performed, but I also suppose that you are getting better at using them. Great progress anyway and it's turning into a real gem!

That scheme is beautiful and your paint work perfect. The streaking camouflage came out just right to my eye. I really like how it's just visible under the black markings. I'm planning on the MvR version from the WnW Albatross and want to get that effect unper the red on the top wing.

Ah thank you guys! And thank you very much for taking the time to follow along.

Tbh, she’s nearly done now, just a few tweaks and then she’ll be in the ‘Completed Models’ section.

Super kit, only flaw I found was the warped wings, but surprisingly easily fixed. I haven’t tried the decals, but they do look a little thick, and it has been mentioned they got the Voss ‘face’ wrong.

Basically, every part of the kit that was Wingnuts is sublime, the rest.. boxing, instructions, decals, is mediocre. There’s not even a mention or indeed, a picture of the rigging.

But you need to get this kit!

All the best,

Guy

Ps

I just sent a PM about the cockpit coaming colour.

Thanks to Rsanz for mentioning the metal cockpit/ engine cover should be, of course, non streaky. My obvious mistake, but to be fair it was on both of my colour profiles I was using!

Just for info in case you build a similar scheme...

Great paint work, Guy.  I see you didnt use the PE engine access covers.  Any particular reason why?

No not really Ken,

Just laziness! The kit ones are a bit thick in retrospect, nothing wrong with the PE.
