WNW Pup Night Trainer/Stars & Moon

Since I referenced this one over on the Group Build thread, here is what I am building from Rowan Broadbent's Sopwith Pup Pets and Trainers Sheet for the 1/32 WNW kit:
https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-Y6bEGJ7Hb0Y/ULwxzWqXPmI/AAAAAAAAAAg/9ExACulqhUg/s640/IMG_5630.JPG
. . . and here is where I am at with the build:
https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-QiU3AksGUtQ/ULwyF2M7gJI/AAAAAAAAAAw/zxcOBBFNXiY/s640/IMG_5635.JPG
https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-dytbpXsVunE/ULwySE_yFdI/AAAAAAAAAA4/3QGj7Q_RM6A/s640/IMG_5639.JPG
Please forgive the links and the fuzziness of the photos--they were taken hand-held and I am have problems with the photo sharing sites. I will use a tripod for the finished photos. I hope to be finshed within a couple of weeks.
We're certainly getting some interesting Pups lately, thanks to Pheon's very cool sheet!
Regards,
Bob

Now,
that
is one very sweet looking Pup. What a fantastic scheme. You've done an outstanding job with the painting and decaling, Bob. Another tip of the hat to Rowan, too.
Cheers,
Bud

Thanks guys. This one's a gift for my adult daughter, who picked the scheme when she saw Rowan's sheet. I might not have been daring enough to try it on my own, but now I really like it!
I hear you DrDave. I've been thinking exactly the same thing since seeing your candy-striper taking shape.
The instructions say Rowan sells extra roundels so you can do multiple subjects from the sheet. Of course, your C354 is very cool too, and McCudden's nightfighter is intriguing . . . how many more Pups was that?
I'm addicted!

Bob

Bob,
She's a beauty my friend. I hadn't seen the Star & Moon scheme before now and I love it. I look forward to seeing more of this grand project.

Hi Bob:
I have this sheet as well, and IIRC you have to place the stars individually. You are certainly doing a great job with that scheme, and I too look forward to seeing you work through completion. It is forums like this and seeing others work that motivates me to do more.
Best wishes and continue on with this neat build.
Best

She's starting to look like an aeroplane now:
The major work is done and I'm preparing the rigging points and adding details. I am following Des's build log from the website, and it has proven very helpful. Struts and rigging next, top wing and then undercarriage. Per the Pheon instructions, I "borrowed" the night lights and Holt flares from the WNW Biff kit. They are ready but not yet installed. The Biff only has two lights, on the top of the lower wing, while the Pup has an extra light fixture on the turtle deck just aft of the cockpit. I made the fuselage light from a length of clear styrene rod. No photos of those yet.
I hope to have her finished by Christmas. I'll post more progress and some detail shots soon.
Cheers!

That's a very special looking scheme Bob, I have not seen it before but I'm sure we will be seeing many more Pups done this way, it is looking excellent and I look forward to seeing more photos of it soon.

Bob,
Absolutely love this scheme my friend. Outstanding paint and weathering. Placing the stars must have been very time consuming.

Bob,
Very unique and very pretty as well. Should be a real eye catcher on the display shelf.
Cheers,
