Looks a beauty Terri,

Yep, I know that feeling - always best to walk away!

Thanks Guy  :)

I will not be finishing this one any time soon , after having the wing clasp yet once again , the struts are a mess now as well as the mounting locations on the fuselage and I had my fill and not in the mood to deal with this .

Thanks for all the kind comments and support during the build guys .

Well, that's too bad.  At least we've got the pictures.
I hope to see it finished one day.   :D

Sad news Terri as this was turning into a really super model. Put it on one side for a time and come back to it later - I am sure that you will be able to finish it.

Thanks guys ,

Now that I had some time to calm down bit putting myself in a  better frame of mind . I spent some time cleaning up the parts for re-assembly , but that will come in a few days . I need new pin stock and super glue . I was using locite and it must be old for it is very brittle once cured . I will take a break from this one for a few days and focus on my other builds .

Still though , if I hand a pair of giant green hands I would have smashed it and called it more then just a meer puniy plane !

The ficken struts are in place and this was an all day affair with no love involved what so ever . At one time through out the day it did end up in the trash bin . There is gluing errors and not just small ones here and there . They are pretty good and you what ...I'm not going to do anything about them , just don't care . I have had my fill on being frustrated on such a simple strut configuration . On the plus side the wing is center and straight and can start the rigging soon .

Nice to see you back on this one Terri. I feel your pain about the glue and other glitches. I just had a similar experience with the Pfalz. Sometimes it's just better to move onward and try to enjoy the smaller victory 8)

I'm glad you saved this one, Terri!  I just finished an old Revell B-24 in anti-U-boot colors and some of the decals almost made me chuck the whole thing.  A day of rest, repositioning....and lots of sanding and re-spraying...and I got it over the hump and now I'm glad it's on the shelf!

Persevere (but still have fun!)!!  :D

Terri,
We're all rooting for you as this build comes to a close.
Just keep flogging it in to submission.

Thanks guys  you are awesome ! :)

I will take a few days break and let the glue really harden up before I start the rigging , but it does feel good getting to this stage .

Kevin , If I was going to " whip " this build into submission ....going to need a new cat-o-nines tail  ;)

Terri I can empathise with you. I managed to knock my DH 1A build when I was rigging the wings and the whole structure collapsed.... I could easily have given up at that point but am glad that I did not.

I am very pleased that you have not given up either. One day you will look at this very colourful Camel and feel pleased that you did not give up too. Eventually..!
