I don't know if anyone is interested, but Modellbau-König has a few WNW kits for sale online... I'm not the owner or shareholder of this company  ;D ;D
here is the link
https://www.modellbau-koenig.de/Hersteller/Wingnut-Wings

Thanks for the heads up, I managed to get a Fokker D.VII and a Junkers D.I with what looks like free shipping to the UK :) I checked a few days ago and they did not have such a big selection.

I was about to do a similar thread. Just bought another Fokker D.VII (early) for 112 euros including postage to UK by DHL. I was really looking for an H-B W.12 but thought an extra D.VII could be useful.
They have
Goering D.VII  99Eu
Barker Snipe    89Eu
Gotha UWD   199Eu
Halberstadt CL.II early & Late  129 Eu
Halberstadt & RE8   229 Eu
Immelmann Fokker 89 Eu
Junkers D.I 89 Eu
Salmson USAS  & Otsu 119EU
DFW C.V Mid 129 EU
AEG G.IV  Early & Late 229 Eu
Camel & LVG C.VI 189 EU
DH9a Postwar 149 EU
AMC DH9 129 EU
Ships Camel, Le Rhone Camel, BRI Camel, USA Camel - all 89 Eu
Felixstowe Late 299 Eu
Rumpler C.IV early 129 Eu
DFW C.V Late 129 Eu

Prices all plus postage of course. They seem to have at least 5 units of each kit.
Toyed with the DFW and Rumpler but settled for the D.VII !!

Simon

NB Tim - Not free shipping - about 12 Euros to UK. I put my address details in (set up account) and postage updated from 5 Euros to 12 Euros !!

I think I got free shipping because I ordered 2 kits. I just double checked and postage and packing was 1 pound only. I'm starting to wonder if I did the wrong thing......... maybe I should have ordered a lot more, I could probably stretch out to another 2 or 3 while they have them at retail prices.

It looks they just got a large container full of kits according to the picture on there Facebook page with the text
"Just arrived: A large delivery of Wingnut Wings has arrived."

"Unfortunately, since the manufacturer has stopped operating, this will be the last container to arrive at our house."

Get them while you can.

i was about to start this thread too :p

i made 2 orders, first was 4 D.VII early, 1 BR.1 Camel, and 1 Junkers D.1 -- all top priority stuff on my spreadsheet.

then, figuring even if WNW reopen their portal, or release the remaining inventory another way, i could all but close out my spreadsheet so i ordered 2 more D.VII early and 2 USAS Camels (to be built as Clergets with upcoming Pheon decals).

now, i'm on that very short list of people where the one WNW kit they don't have but covet the most is the Gotha UWD.

the first order i had apparently free shipping--to Thailand (!). the second, 45 euros. i suspect the difference between the two is that i confirmed my email address before the 2nd order.

i put in a service ticket about the no-postage on the first order. i'll let you all know here if it was a bug or a feature.

Did the order form remove VAT for you?
I am finding that it leaves the VAT in even when shipping to NZ.
Thanks

I just done a second order and it looks like if you go over 150 pounds you get shipping for 1 pound to UK anyway, more reason to order more than one :)

Ps Thanks for heads up!

welcome to *my* world.

pretty much anything i order from anywhere, i will suffer when the shipping to Thailand is tallied. shipping from WNW wasn't tooooo bad but there's no way to know whether they'll sell off their inventory themselves. or sell it off at all. my bank balance hates me now.

there are local hobby shops, and they carry everything you could ever want... IF you are into Gundam.

a lot of people in the Facebook groups have used them and recommend them highly, referring to them as "The German Hannant's." this is my first order with MBK but Hannant's have consistently been a class act IMO, so high praise indeed.

i do have some experience with shipping delays from Germany however. around March it was awful, a package routed from US through Germany (because DHL) took... 2 months. lately though it's about two weeks. and, DHL track meticulously. to my eye DHL aren't as reliable as Fedex but a cut above the regular postal services. they are terrible at handling customs issues though. at least here they are.

Just received a postage refund of 12 euros . I’ve got 2 emails in fact - one in German and one in English but then I ordered 2 D.VII’s and one order was confirmed in German and the other in English so I’m not sure if they’re refunding both sets of postage!! I will check my PayPal later !! Seems bizarre!!
