Lovely review, Przemo! Yes, I agree with you about the engine, a very old style moulding! The larger tailplane did go quite far into the production run, and I wouldn't be surprised if early airframes got a "bolt-on" replacement with the smaller taiplane! Here is a photo (off the internet, better quality one in Ray Rimmel's datafile) of a line up of French Triplanes, 4 large tailplanes in a row!

Yet,I am planning to build Reid's Black Roger with the small tailplane. And luckily I have found a piece of Pheon decal sheet and will be able to replace the off-register cockades...
