So I am calling the 43 Squadron Camel Done although I will add the serial number later once I receive the Masks. I must admit that this is not My Best work on a WNW kit. It has become one of My Favorites though. The reason is that this build more than any other I have done shows the Spirit of Our Community! It Takes a whole Villiage to Build a Camel  ;) Thanks to Bob von Buckles, AKA the Mask Master, Gene, FAF, and Many others who offered their assistance! A few of the things I am pleased with are the Figure, the rigging of that Acorn and the Complete loss Oil Staining on the undersides  8)

PS: The Photos showed me I forgot to add the rigging from the lower wing to the gear legs  :o

RAGIII,
Very nice and fully inspiring, as all your builds are.

Great lessons learned for future builds, Rick.

I just like it!
The tufted grass really looks the part, too.

Another thing I think you should be happy with is the inspiration you've given to the rest of us. It might be difficult for you to see/feel that, but in my case it made me give figure painting a go and your finished build also shows me the importance of a good base!
Great job, simply put!

Brilliant, I agree with Frederik about the inspiration you've given too.

Love the way you've displayed it, sets it off perfectly. Looking forward to the vic of Spads now. :)

That is truly one of your better builds Rick, whatever you may think. The oil stains are as good as any that I have seen on a model, and the figure is a work of art on its own - it really adds to the model. The dented oil drum is also a nice touch.

Congratulations on another first class build and an interesting and informative build log.

Stephen.

Rich , outstanding work on this one , like the oil staining on the underside  :)

The figuer is also really well done , he does look good standing next to his kite . Did you make the base ? That grass really looks the part .

Nice Camel. Fine presentation. I envy those who are brave enough to add figures. They truly make the models more lifelike.

Thanks to all for your comments. The grass is a simple Mat purchased as is and cut to fit My needs. It was meant more as a photographic enhancement for the figure and Camel rather than a Diorama/Vignette! I do like the outcome!
