A photo of the aircraft after capture by the Bolsheviks, clearly shows that the aft fuselage, fin, and rudder are painted in a pattern of colors that do not match the red of the Polish insignia, and suggests, instead, “hand-painted polygons . . .intended to imitate the “lozenge” pattern.”
