WnW RE.8
« on: January 16, 2020, 12:27:40 PM »
Hello folks, finally finished my Wingnut Wings RE.8. The model was a pleasure to build. If the crew figures look a bit familiar, I've posed them previously with my build of the Brisfit. They're the Model Cellar figures from their popular 1/32 WW1 line.
Cheers,
Gary

Wow, Gary...

I should say you finished it!  Holy cow...and the figures too.  You should do some instructional videos.

That is just sweet.

Verry nice, as I have been saying in your build log. Great all around. It seems we have a Re.8 invasion lately... ;)

Blimey Gary,

That’s awesome, and the figures are superb!

Totally agree...BLIMEY!
The RE.8 looks spectacular, but the figures push the completed build past stratospheric!

Amazing work, Gary.
Well done.  :)

P.S. If you ever find spare time, please do a figure painting tutorial. There are many among us that would greatly appreciate it. Cheers!

That is a truly wonderful model and as others have commented, the figures take it well beyond the level of wonderful!

Just beautiful Gary; the detail, quality of finish and very subtle but absolutely convincing weathering are all flawless. You've done a magnificent job on this one, congratulations on reaching a very rare level of realism in model building.
Cheers,
Lance

What a beauty! Might be odd, but I like the satin sheen as opposed to it being really flat.
