You want me to break a leg ! :o :o :o :o   ;)

The parts in the kit aren't bad at all , no just lumps of plastic . There is one broken strut but that is and easy fix .

Made a start on getting the parts cleaned up , there was a fare bit of flesh to sand away taking most of the day to get rid of it . Fingers started cramping up so the struts will be for another day . I did add hinge detail with bits of .10 X .30mm . Not sure if this is even right , but it draws more interest to a rather plain area .

Terri,
It's great to see the kits of yesteryear given a chance to shine.

Ahh, a new irritation!

Wait! You can't build this!  You have to wait for the WNW and CSM kits!   ;D

Terri, you want to build this with closed engine cowling?
There are some build reports about this kit saying Eduard was wrong here and the cowling was always open.
But that is simply not true, in the Windsock Datafile there are pictures of both: open or closed cowling :)

I have to many started projects already, otherwise I would take the kit out of my stash and open up a little group build with you! 8)

Cheers,
Frank

Hey guys , thanks for checking out the build so far  :)

Ken , so far no new irritations , but I'm sure they are forthcoming in the future .  ;) There always is !

Some time this year we should see one of them !

Frank , Guten Tag  :) I was planning on putting in an engine , but I don't have any useable ones in the parts bin and I really don't want to have too mod and detail an engine or wait for one to come in the mail . I have been looking at different profiles for marking options other then what is in the kit and notice some with fully cowled and some not . Reading about in the summer months when it was hot the upper cowls where removed to aid in cooling . Maybe next time we can do a mini GB of some short  ;)

Okay , today I spent my time assembling the PE framework for the pit and got the seat ready for paint as well . The control column and rudder bar I will replace with scratched items . The pin that Eduard included in the kit is over sized and will not fit the holes in the column or the support . Simple fix  :) . So far the pit fits inside the fuselage when closed up so that is a plus .
Up next is starting the wood .

Nice work on that PE.  Quite a bit of it for a kit, I would say.
