Printing SLA and casting Service.
« on: November 06, 2019, 01:45:36 AM »
Hi all,

Just wanted to let you know in this tread I finally have and SLA printer for myself to use in the making of new kits. The printer has a print capacity of layer height of 0.025 mm so the prints that come out are very detailed and can be used on future kits I am planning.
The print volume of the printer is 12 by 6.5 by 15 cm.

I am offering printing service to any one who needs a 1 off part for a model or more parts to be printed, and if needed I can make copy's in resin of that part.

Atm I am making a bust of Predator 10 cm high made some adjustments so I can cast copy's.

If you are interested pop me an email at [email protected] and we can discus pricing and shipping.

Here is some wings I did for Brad Cancain cast in resin.

Kind regards Ron

Hi Ron,
This is great news and I'm sure it will be of great benefit to everyone.
I recently build a Sopwith 'Swallow' using a few parts from a resin conversion set.
To be honest the resin parts were pretty dire and needed a lot work to make them presentable.
I for one will doubtless use your services in the future.

Will you be creating models that are not currently available - create unique parts without a part to copy?

Yes for my future projects we have planned I will draw the parts in 3d myself and my m8. For the service I am offering you will need to send me a STL 3d file to print. If I would have to draw it up would cost way to much money to make the part and time.

Cool to see you've added this to your arsenal, Ron!  25 micron layer thickness... What did you buy? Sounds like a Form 2 / Form 3, maybe a Wanhao.

I don't know which picture hosting service you use but I don't see any photos either.

I use PostImage for posting pix and it works well.

I can certainly attest that Ron's casting work is high quality. Here's some more pics of the wings he did for me:

Thanks again Ron!
