Miniart releases 1/35 LGOC B-Type Bus
« on: October 12, 2019, 05:32:03 AM »
Dear all,

I think these are good news, although it isn’t flying:
https://miniart-models.com/de/products/39001-b-type-military-omnibus/
And I have seen Miniart is also prepairing a set of 1/35 pigeons, so I think a pigeon carrier version of the bus isn’t too far away. Statements from miniart to plan the release of WWI kits already exist for a while. Maybe the bus is the beginning?
Exciting news, at least I think so.

Best regards
Andreas

Nice, will have to get one and compare it with the old Airfix 1/32 B Type Bus 'Ole Bill'.

Well , I’m excited! I was wondering what miniart were going to release in their new ww1 range and this is a brilliant first choice. To the top of my Xmas list! Thanks for sharing! Matt

Looking at their website it seems MiniArt has several versions of the bus planned. It looks amazing and will be a feature for diorama fans as well as vehicle modellers.

The Forum will be taking a close interest in this new line of WW1 kits. Its great to see kit manufacturers delivering new WW1 items for us.

I would prefer to see more vehicles and equipment in 1/32 to go with the aircraft. I will probably get these eventually, but it would be nice to have everything in the same scale.

The Airfix one is already 1/32

I do have this kit (the civilian version), not built it yet. I will get the minicraft kit to help update and add detail for it. I will have to find some reference material as well. I also have the truck from Tommy's War. It just would be nice to have everything in the same scale for size comparison. Whenever I see a picture with the old male tanks with no one in the picture for scale, I think they should be huge and kinda disappointed as to how small they are, especially given the crew sizes.
