Fantastic built, Gary! The engine looks great and the cockpit is just terrific.

Good day folks - after a while away from the model bench I was able to make some progress on the Re.8 by adding the engine, upper cowl and push rods. Not an easy task as the upper cowling is very thick and needs to be thinned down considerably to get things to look half decent. Thanks for looking!
Cheers,
Gary

Looks very nice and clean, above all clean! I probably need to something about all the dust that always end up on my models and in my photos... /Fredrik

Wow, it looks so familiar. And great progress. Will you close the engine with side and bottom cowlings? I am stil deliberating what to do in my RE8.

BTW, is it your choice for Battleship Grey what we see on the model now? I have a problem with this colour. My understanding was it was rather darkish and bluish hue of grey. But what TVAL propose on their otherwise lovely replicas recently is a very light grey, like the one on Gotha G.1. What do you think of it?

Super job Gary,

The engine is really well done and the wiring is top notch!
